Boarding

Williamsburg Animal Clinic has a completely indoor, air-conditioned boarding facility. We have cages and runs available in various sizes for our canine boarders. Our boarders are walked three times a day, except on Sunday when they are walked twice. Fresh water is available at all times and they are fed once daily with Science Diet foods. Each boarder is also provide with a soft blanket or towel in their cage.

Some of our boarders require special care, such as medications or a specific diet. We are more than happy to accommodate any special needs that may be required by your pet. Please make certain to tell one of our staff members of your pets special needs when scheduling your boarding appointment.

We also provide boarding for our feline patients and we do our best to keep them away from the dogs in a separate area during their stay, so that they are not in a stressful environment.

Dr. McCary is on call for the staff should an animal become ill while boarding, so you can be confident when you leave your pet with us that they will receive all the love and care our own pets receive. Space is limited and is occupied quickly, especially during holidays, so please call in advance to make your reservations.
